Lady Vikings Put Up 26 On Wayne

The Huntington softball team put up 26 runs in five innings on Wayne Thursday in a 26-0 route.

Highlights:

Ariene Butler: 2 for 2 at the plate with 2 stolen bases

Mackenzi Cannici: 3 for 4 at the plate with 4 RBIs and 1 stolen base

Erin Burke: 4 for 5 (3-1B and 1-2B) at the plate with 3 RBIs and 3 stolen bases

Hannah Middlebrooks: 1 for 2 at the plate, including a 3-run home run

Kendra Arnold: 1 for 2 at the plate and 1 RBI

Aubrie Eckert: 2 for 2 at the plate with a double and 3 RBIs and 2 stolen bases

Viking Golf Wins Northrop Invite

the Huntington varsity golf team played in the Northrop invite at Colonial Oaks Saturday.
We played great! The guys shot 327 and that was good for first place.

The Huntington softball team defeated Homestead 6-5 Monday.

Frosh Take Two From Homestead

The Viking Freshman won both ends of a double header at Homestead, 18-9 in Game #1 and 10-8 in Game #2.

Logan Moreland, Sam Poling, and Ethan Shafer combined efforts on the mound in Game #1.  Collin Landrum and Konner Morris pitched in the win in game #2.

The Vikes next host Bellmont on Wednesday.
